Dominion Resources Inc. bought a 7.7-megawatt solar energy project in Georgia from Smart Energy Capital and Jacoby Development. Terms weren’t disclosed.
The project, about 60 miles southwest of Augusta, has a 25- year power purchase agreement with Cobb Electric Membership Corp., Richmond, Virginia-based Dominion said in a statement today. The facility is expected to start operating Dec. 1
