No suitors for Kathryn until she’s 18

MANILA — Kathryn Bernardo is not allowed to get into a serious relationship until she hits 18.
That means actor Daniel Padilla has another year to wait until he could formally woo the actress.
The two are starring in the movie “Must Be... Love” after also appearing together in the hit TV drama “Princess and I,” which concluded early this month.
Bernardo told ABS-CBN News that her mother has specifically requested her not to entertain any suitors yet, but she admits that she and Padilla have a mutual understanding.
“I guess I can say our feelings really developed as I got to know him more fully because he is a nice guy,” she said, although she added Padilla is free to court other girls as they were not officially an item yet. — SG
