Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown to perform at Billboard awards

Singers Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and Ed Sheeran will perform at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, which will also see performances by a host of other artists. The singers will be joining performers like Christina Aguilera, Selena Gomez, Pitbull, The Band Perry,Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Miguel, Prince and Justin Bieber at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas May 19, reports contactmusic.com.

David Guetta, Akon, Ne-Yo and Icona Pop will also participate in the event.

Nominations for the awards were recently announced with Taylor Swift, American indie pop band Fun. and pop rock band Maroon 5 leading it with 11 nods each.
