Samsung Galaxy S4 could be launched in April

The long-rumored Samsung Galaxy S4should be officially announced in March, but when will we be able to buy it? Well, it looks like that might happen starting April.
Geeky-gadgets, quoting a “source close to a major retailer”, has it that the S4 will be released in the UK between April 15 and April 22.
Moreover, Phone Arena has uncovered some documents that seemingly come from a retailer in New Zealand. These documents promise Galaxy S4 handsets as prizes to employees who participate to a sales incentive contest. The contest end on April 8 – so the new Galaxy has considerable chances to be launched in New Zealand shortly after that.

Sure enough, what we’re reporting now can’t be officially confirmed. So the S4 might not arrive in April after all. In any case, the Galaxy S4 should be Samsung’s first smartphone to feature a Full HD (1920 x 1080) display. It will also come with Android Jelly Bean, a quad-core Exynos processor (possibly clocked at 2GHz), 13MP rear camera, wireless charging capabilities, and a 2,600 mAh battery.
As a reminder, HTC has a new 1080p flagship Android smartphone, too: the M7. This will be officially announced on February 19, which could mean it’s going to hit the market sooner than Samsung’s Galaxy S4. We’ll see what happens.
