The new 2014 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo hatchback goes on-sale this summer.

2014 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo debuts in Chicago Perhaps it’s fitting Germany’s BMW would launch its new 3 Series Gran Turismo four-door hatchback today at this year’s annual Chicago auto show, an event better known as a “truck show”. Set to go on-sale this summer in 328i and 335i trim levels, the compact 3 Series GT eschews the bi-level trunk/hatch technology its larger 5 Series GT employs. But it’s longer, taller and sports a longer wheelbase than existing models, making the new 3 Series GT the biggest 3 Series yet, with more rear cargo space than the arguably better-looking 3 Series Touring sports wagon, also set to arrive at dealers this summer.
