Microsoft Windows 8′s next version Windows Blue features revealed

Microsoft has been maintaining a very tight lid on its Windows Blue and its features. The upcoming upgrade of the Windows 8 is expected to be launched later this year. However leaks have surfaced on the web which gives one a fair idea of the salient features of the Windows Blue upgrade.
The Windows Blue will not be a completely new OS and instead will be based on the present windows 8 OS as well as the Windows Phone 8 OS platform. The Windows Blue will be essentially an upgraded version of the Windows 8 with a number of updates and features while continuing with the basic features of the Windows 8 OS platform.

The upgrades which are expected on the Windows Blue include an ability to run two applications with both occupying 50:50 ratio of the screen. The new OS will also feature options to re-size the Live Tile and so also easier screenshot sharing options. The OS will also include new gesture controls and so also better access to critical settings to give a more responsive user interface. Another important feature is the ability to use multiple Windows 8 devices and enhanced Start screen synchronization.
Another important feature in the Windows Blue OS is built in the IE 10 to the Desktop Version IE 11 which enables the user to move through the browsing history by just swiping horizontally. This was possible till now via the Registry Editor.
Coming to the question of downloading the leaked build of the upcoming OS from Microsoft, it is not exactly recommended. It isd only a matter of time before the Purview of the latest OS will come out and users will be able to experience the latest features themselves.
Verge has reported that Microsoft will be shortly releasing the public preview of Windows on the sidelines of the Build 2013 conference, which will be held from June 26 through the 28 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
