Taipei, March 7 (CNA) Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC Corp. announced the pricing for its make-or-break flagship model in Taiwan Thursday, as part of its marketing efforts to boost consumer demand.
Pricing for the HTC One, with a 16-gigabyte storage capacity, will start from NT$19,900 (US$670), while the 32GB and 64GB models will be sold at NT$21,900 and NT$24,900, respectively, the company said in a statement.
The new HTC phone will hit Taiwanese stores later this month, with local mobile carriers such as Chunghwa Telecom Co., Taiwan Mobile Co., Far EasTone Telecommunications Co. and Vibo Telecom Inc. taking pre-orders starting Thursday.
