Everyone is wondering when exactly the iPad mini 2 will actually appear on the market – after all the iPad mini has been on sale for a few months now, having made its debut in November of last year.
It would appear Apple have yet again been caught out by the demand of the iPad mini – 3 million iPad 4 and iPad mini were shifted in three days. This it would appear has taken the smartphone giant by surprise.
If the rumours are to be believed and who really knows – the iPad mini 2 may boast a sharper display – some say 2,048 x 1,536 pixels that will be neatly packed into the same 7.9-inches that exists on the device users have in their hands today.
On Wednesday 3rd April, a few US retailers dropped the price of iPads which could be an indication they are making way for a newer device to appear on the scene – but yet again this is purely speculation.
Walmart, MacMall and Best Buy all dropped the price of an iPad 3 and iPad mini by around 30%.
Next, the question on many peoples’ lips is what will the iPad mini 2 have as an engine? Will it have a A5X processor? One thing is for sure, it is highly unlikely that Samsung will have anything to do with it.
