Hello, sailor! Jennifer Lopez looks like she's off boating in nautical-inspired striped T-shirt and white shorts as she hits the shops with Casper Smart

She's spent the last few weeks jetting all over the world as she promotes her new album.

So it's no surprise that Jennifer Lopez wanted a little down time with other half Casper Smart on Sunday, spending the day shopping as rumours circulated that she's signed a new American Idol deal.

Looking like she should have been lounging around on a yacht rather than wandering around Los Angeles, the 43-year-old wore a nautical-inspired outfit for her day out.

The Live It Up singer certainly didn't seem to be trying to blend in as she stopped by Fred Segal for a late lunch with her dancer boyfriend, pairing a stand-out striped T-shirt with white shorts.

Jennifer wore her dark hair scraped back into a tight bun and injected a little colour into the outfit with large gold, hoop earrings and matching sandals.
She added a huge pair of sunglasses over her face and clutched an iced coffee as she left the cafe, having had a leisurely lunch.

And it seems that her day of indulgence didn't stop there as the star then treated herself to a two-hour shopping session with her other half, making the most of her day off.

The couple later returned to their huge white car loaded down with bags, having clearly splashed the cash in West Hollywood.

The day before, Jennifer had also been spotted wandering around town and popping into various clothes shops, looking a lot more dressed down in red tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt.

Earlier in the week the star was spotted being driven to a meeting at an office building in Beverly Hills where she met up with Ryan Seacrest, sparking speculation that she's set to return to the singing competition.
The FOX network is said to be desperate for Jennifer to return as a judge on Idol next season after judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Randy Jackson quit, but the star says she is on the fence about it.
'I don't know. That's the question of the moment. I loved doing the show. I've said that over and over. If it came down to it and things were right and it worked out right - we have a lot going on right now,' Jennifer told USA Today in May.
'For an offer to come in and for me to consider it, I would have to sit down and look at my next year.'
