Remember Instagram’s huge terms of service fiasco last month? Well, at the time Instagram wouldn’t say a word about its usage figures, but now it has some details on its monthly active users for the first time.
Remember Instagram’s huge terms of service fiasco last month? Well, at the time Instagram wouldn’t say a word about its usage figures, but now it has some details on its monthly active users for the first time.
According to the company, their monthly active users stand at 90 million. Apparently this is up ten percent from December to January. Instagram’s Kevin Systrom says that the company “continues to see very strong growth around the world.”
So how active are those 90 million users? Well, Instagram says that they’re responsible for 40 million photos a day, along with 8,500 likes per second and 1,000 comments per second. Pretty impressive. We don’t have info on a breakdown by Android and iOS users, or any further details.
