At the Screen awards ceremony, it was Vidya Balan's first red carpet appearance post her marriage to Siddharth Roy Kapur. However, all eyes were on her when she walked the red carpet sans her husband. Instead, her parents accompanied the actress.
On her 'missing' husband, Vidya joked how he is a punctual man and he let her take her sweet time to get ready for the evening. Earlier, Siddharth had walked solo at the event.
A source says, "Everyone expected Vidya to come with her husband. Onlookers were surprised when she came with her parents."
Vidya says, "Siddharth is very punctual and he made it a point to come on time." The actress arrived much after the event had begun.
